School age children can enroll onto our Beginners, Intermediate or Advanced classes where the teacher is in the water for best teaching practice and support. Nervous swimmers are introduced to move around the pool with buoyancy aids in a group, developing confidence and submerging their face in the water, synchronising breathing as they learn to swim Front Crawl, Back Crawl and Breaststroke. Dolphin kick is introduced as soon as they are able to do so. Children can continue learning Butterfly stroke on later ASA Stages. At more Advanced levels (Stage 5 onward), we introduce rescue exercises (Rookie Lifeguard, 8-12 years old), more diving, somersaults and stroke analysis. We aim to award children at least three times a year and we follow the Swim England programme with Stage levels 1-7.

Badges and Certificates can be purchased for a small charge.
